Thanks. In real live they weigh 80 tons each! In the model I had enough to 1 kg of lead.

Thank you guys for the kind words. Instead of days you can better ask how many years. :D ;)
It took me 3 years to build the whole crane and barge.

Awesome, yes videos are a must for this. Can you take a picture of this next to a pop can or something, I just can't imagine working at 1/75th scale. Excellent work!

@mgb, in real live is this a pretty large crane so the model is not so small as you probably think. The real barge is 58 meter long and 24 meter width. The crane is 49 meter high. If you convert these measures in a scale of 1/75 you can image how big this model is. ;)

That is a very exceptional model with excellent detail! I've seen barge mounted, pedestal cranes on the Ohio River but nothing as big as this. It's just awesome. Hope you can do some videos soon.
