Midwest Spring Meet ~ May 23-24

It's time to play in the dirt again!

Schedule:
Friday evening we'll be setting up. If you get into town early come and hang out and unload your gear. (We lock the hangar at night) Saturday we'll start at 8am and go until we all want dinner. Sunday start again at 8am and people can leave at their leisure. I have that Monday off work so I can stay as long as people want to play.

Hotel Info:
Monticello Best Western is already sold out that weekend. You can check with Foster Inn in Monticello or check room availability in Champaign which is 20 minutes away. (possibly cheaper too)

Here are some cheaper Champaign hotel options:

Yes thanks for getting this together Nate! I am tentatively planning on being there Thursday afternoon so I can help get things ready for the weekend. Let me know what we need for ground prep work, if I got it I'll bring it.

Think I'm going to spread salt to try to prevent weeds from growing. I don't want to have to do that every time. I talked to a guy about an actual inhibitor but it's super toxic and we touch our equipment and stir up dust so it's not advised.

Also the Foster Inn just a mile down the road had a few rooms as well.

I was able to get a room at the Best western by calling them directly
this was at 130pm CST today.

I'm here and he's right, I had a nice chat with the Manager and she has at least 20 rooms and won't jack the price. They had a wedding scheduled and blocked rooms but only 8 were taken. If you call make sure you call direct (217) 762-9436. Tell them your with the RCTRUCKANDCONSTRUCTION meet at Eli Feild. If your staying in champainge you might want to move now!
