Hi there Peter...
Amazing cab work...
I really like the fact that you are crazy with Daf and you are not sitting there just waiting when tamiya will produce one...

Congrats on your amazing skills and thanks for sharing your techniques...

Hi. Well the thing about DAF my grandfather was one of the first to own a DAF truck. In my great grandfathers company. And the brand stayed the main supllier of the company. Thu the years and generations. That company splinterd into lots of small busnesses. Both trucks in the first picture were also the last I drove. I have an office job now. That gives me the spare time to build model trucks.
I Like to show how I build my cabs and trucks. I could make a 3D drawing of a cab and have it 3D printed. Or I could stick to assembeling modelkits. To my thats no fun.
I Like to use unusual materials. In case of this truck garbage as row material. But the pizzaboxes aren't the best quality of cartboard. And thats why they absorbe a lot of polyuritan lacker. When the lacker is set the cardboard is stronger than a cab build from plastic sheets.

Here the lacker is aplied to most of the cab. One coat is enough. A second wound be absorbed.

Here I started to aply the putty to smouth it out.

Hi I did some work at the chassis and the bumper.
The bumper needs soms work, and as a bumper I'm going to full the empty spaces in this bumper with resin.

The semi trailer got a little work to. I just need to make some pictures of it.

that is just amazing, would never have guessed that a pizzabox could be turned in to something like an RC truck. thumbs-up!!
