HHA inspiered Knight Hauler - first build

Hi guys and gals!
Here is my first RC build and a tribute to HHA. They have/had a awesome fleet if you ask me!
Sad it took a bad turn for them...

Anyway, first build means that Im learning alot! Some misstakes are made and some things I would have done different if I hade the knowledge that I have know...

Im about to finish the vinyl job and then hit the chrome parts with stacks and grill etc..

Living on the other side of the globe, Sweden, Its hard to find Aussie parts and insperation.
From what I know, I have not seen an RC Aussie truck up here.

The paint is drying on the trailer and no alloy wheels in the mailbox so far...

Wow thats one of the nicest paint schemes I've see for a while Patrik..........
And the good thing that I like about HHA was all there trucks had the same colors on then but the patterns were all different so when it come to your second rig Patrik making the paint work will be easier..............

The colors is the closest I came to HHA when looking at pics of them prime movers. Living on the wrong side of the globe does not make it easy! :P

The vinyl prints are made of a company printing vinyl for 1:1 cars.

The pics a are shot with Sony Alpha77 with a 10mm lense.

Well I Hope the Alloy wheels will arrive during next week. Also, since I already have a Tamiya Tanker Trailer, Im currently painting the chassie TS-19 blue to go with the truck bro! :)

I also talked to a guy about buying his lowloader Carson trailer. We have a truck show in the end of Aug, will look at it then and maybe its a deal. That would fit the HHA theme!

Today Ive got some time in my mancave.
Alu wheels all around her, metal 7" stacks and BB Antenna.
The wires in the chassie has been painted flat black.
I also got to start assamble the tanker after the chassie parts been painted.

Tomorrow I will put the painted wheel hubs on the truck and continue the build of my tanker.

I think it does a huge difference compared to the chromed Tamiya plastic...
