Well, technically there was 2 club members with trucks in one spot. Sounds like a meet to me:D.
Great to have Chris Silver visit with his truck and trailer. He did a beautiful job customizing his peterbuilt. Has a nice big showtime front bumper which isn't very shingle road friendly but he was getting along fine for a few hours. But then it happened, broke the front bumper clean off. ( it's happened to him before.:) ).
Worked out for the better anyway because bumper free allowed him to roam at whatever speed he wanted. :D:lol:

The weather was wet and terrible but that didn't stop us. Hoping to get some more run time in now the weather has cleared.

Well, the big RC meet is coming closer and closer now and figured it's a good time to post hotel info for those interested in attending. I'm starting to get a proper head count together so I have an idea how many are coming. At the moment already have 10 confirmed to attend.:):bounce:

Please send me a pm to let me know if you can attend. Dates again are. August 5,6,7th and 8th for those who can stay longer:D

First 3 hotels listed are within 2 minutes of our house and cost about 69 per night.
The next 3 listed are more mainstream places and are less than 10 minutes away. All are nice and clean, I wouldn't expect anyone to stay in a flea bag motel.:cop::lol::lol:

Great to hear Mark. I promise to do my best in making the road Texas bumper friendly as possible. All shingles will not overlap like they are right now. Plan is to just butt them up and then gorilla tape the seams.
The lay of the land and the ups and downs of the road will still be there so carpet runners won't make it out here. :)

Well folks, as of tomorrow , it's 2 weeks till the big meet in Foxville. :bounce:
I've gotten lots done recently in preparation for the invasion and look forward to seeing you all. At the moment there's 10 confirmed making the trip and another 4 that might be able so with all our gear and that size of group, should be a great time.:D
Its going to be different than any other show or meet I've gone to. All others have been in the public. This is my backyard and no public.... Well, maybe the neighbours, and local news reporter.

Looking forward to hosting the first scale builders club meet in northern Ontario! :bounce:
