Merry Christmas ALL.. I got 5 sets of Jon's pipes and new full fenders and air cleaners and bumpers with wheels to come from Steve and I took the blue pete in on trade from a customer that wants a new truck built it showed yesterday so you can call it a present I guess and a Ipod from the wife and some cloths and lots of shot gun shells for the skeet rang.

Sounds like everyone is having a good Christmas I just got home from our big family party my mom filled her truck with presents for the kids she has a dodge mega cab and after filling the bed and the back seat there was only room for her and dad and it was nice to see the looks on the kids faces when we passed out the gifts.

I got exactly what I asked for, which was nothing !!

However, besides 12 hrs of OT plus holiday pay today at work ($109/hr.), I did buy myself another WDC last night as a present to myself. Always wanted a COE, and now i've got one. So this holiday was a good one.

well i had a good christmas i have a new set of cobalt bits from sears and a new tap and die set all metric from sears got a few new clothes but i would have to say the best part was watchin the kids and seein the look on my dads face when he opened his gift from sandy and i i had 2 pics blown up bigger from a job we had done a few years ago when we had both terex dozers still in fulltime use he liked it.... even though i really didn't ask for anything it was all good glad to see them all and glad to be home where it is peaceful :)

Nate , is that a new release ? I've seen the yellow 1 , (can't remember the model # though ) I thought about getting . I never realized ertl had so many till I saw Claus' collection . I've only ever been interested in the construction and truck IH's

Hi Steve. I think Ertl released the 1206 tractors in early 2010. They did offer a 1206 industerial model, which is the one you are thinking of, and this red Wheatland version. Both have FWA, which is really cool. I've found the red Wheatland is getting a tougher to find now, but the yellow industerial 1206 is still available at a lot of dealers or shops. E-Bay seems to have the red Wheatland versions, but at higher prices now. Sometimes really high prices! It pays to look around for a good deal, if you specifically want a red 1206.

Thanks Craig! Yeah, been wanting that tractor for a while now! From what my folks tell me, there are a couple more tractors on the way, that didn't make it in time for Christmas! They were watching E-Bay for a Precision 1206, but since those sell so high, they ordered up something else, and I think I know exactly what they ordered.

It would be, but then what Ertl tractor wouldn't be? :D Space would be a problem. These tractors don't have much room inside them. Even the bigger 4wd articulated tractors lack space, and they are much larger models. The other problem is I hate to split a limited edition tractor like this in half and not know if I could ever really get it back together with all the necessary components inside.

I finally ordered my first truck kit with my Christmas money! Woohoo! I ordered a King Hauler that should be here next week. It's going to be a very long term build though since I don't have a radio for it but that's ok. I also bought myself one of the new Traxxas Ken Block Gymkhana cars that'll be here next week too! i got a knight hauler kit and it come with futuba skyport t4yf and the guy threw in a rooster crawler speed controler and crawler 35 turn motor but i dont think the motor is any good for the semi though:D
