I'm sitting here in my truck wanting to purchase a driveshaft from RC4WD but I don't know which one to get. All I know is I need one that will fit over the 5mm output shaft. I'm thinking the 5.7" - 7" one will work, but I'm not sure.

So anyone know the right one to buy, or the length of the stock driveshaft?

My stock one slips/jams up at times because I took off the "shocks" on my drives for more articulation.

Check out this thread for an inexpensive way of making your own shafts.

You can also adjust the drive cups on the axle and transmission so there is very little fore/aft play in the shaft when all tires are flat on the bench, then see what you get when you flex the suspension and readjust accordingly. :)

yeah i've already read that thread a couple days ago. Pretty cool.

Also good idea with adjusting the cups, I hadn't thought of that.

I mainly want to buy something so when I get hometime I can pop it in, and go play :D
