Lebanon Indiana Garden show

We have been invited to play at the spring garden show in Lebanon Indiana. The dates are April 14th-16th Thurs, Fri, and Sat. They have offered to let us set up on the 13th. This is a wonderful opportunity for us, we will be getting a space nearly the size of Indy and best of all its FREE. We will be inside and using our ground up rubber. All they ask of us is to put on a show for the public while the show is open but we are on our own the rest of the time. This will be at the fairgrounds. This show is about 30min north of Indy on I65. The hotels are less than 5 min north of the fair grounds at the intersections of I65 and st rd 32. In the pic below I have the fairgrounds circled and the area with the hotels circled. If you have any questions just contact me.

Room reservations made!! Alex, Lil Cooper and I booked a room at the Comfort Inn in Lebanon, IN for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

If we can rework our schedules, I'd like to get down there Wednesday to help Travis set-up.

Who's planning to attend the Lebanon Indiana Show?

DieselKid (Alex) and myself (FabOne) along with Grandson Cooper (Lowboy) plan on being there sometime Thursday and staying until Sunday. We have rooms down the road.

Jim, The room we are getting is larger than Indy!! Our problem is to get enough people and equipment to fill it :eek::eek:
There should be plenty of other construction equipment there to keep a drag line supplied with material.

Every body is more than welcome to bring RC RELATED (semi, scale truck , buggy, turing car, what ever) items to trade and sell. This will be a realy good show for us to have our own little swap meet. Our only obligation is to put on a good show during the hours of the show and I will get those posted. The rest of the time is just for us to do what we want.

All hobby grade RC are welcome to play but for those with no common sense here are some guidelines. Just come and play and have fun with some common sense and if you have none we will provide it for you. If we have to provide the common sense it will only be once the second time I will have you escorted out.

Set up 12pm wed and we have to be out by noon Sun. The show is only open 4-8 each day.

In the same building as us will be where the sell supper each day so you wont have to go far for supper.

This is going to be a great time. Lynn and I went to Menards and I bought another 900 sq ft of carpet and some road bed. We will have 1/3 more pit space and roadbed than Indy.

So many have commented about how nice the euro shows are. But ****, nobody wants to put in the effort to simply show up.

Same thing happened this past fall at Nates meet.

Rather disheartening.

I'm part of a few different forums on the internet but until now, I've never had the opportunity to meet others that were a part of it in person. Just wanted to get on here and say thanks to Travis and all others who made this weekend what it was, which was awesome! I've never seen such a nice fairground in all my life!!! Neat place to play, beautiful weather, a relatively central location for most, and hotels/food within a stone's throw. Can't beat that!!!

I really hope this becomes a yearly event, and maybe even more often with more interest!

THANKS for a GREAT weekend Travis! You put on a super show. Like others mentioned, what a great facility. Unbelievable this was a County Fairground.

Gary-if you google earth or maps and search Lebanon IN. it will show you all of them. They are 2 exits north from the fair grounds on 65. Maybe 5 minutes. We have only had 1 meet there and it was new to all of us so we didn't have enough people to get a hotel to commit to a special price and everyone pretty much does there own thing. There hasn't been any OFFICAL announcement on here, that we've been invited to do this show on the date thats listed above. We are all hoping it will happen though.
