Picked up a Bruder Mack Granite with lowboy trailer combo recently to carry my Trumpeter KT 1/16 static model. Thought I'd share some pics of the trailer work for comment by anyone interested...

The trailer I am making is loosely based on the US military M747 trailer, a mighty handome looking trailer IMHO! I have amended the design to keep the Bruder three axle wheels and having just a flat deck with the central Bruder slot. On the gooseneck I have omitted the M747 guide rollers on top of the gooseneck. The work is still in production including front legs, tail section and side shackles etc... some pics attached.

Interestred to know if anyone else has done a Bruder gooseneck conversion?

Mike

You need to try a photo account like photobucket, flickr or tinypics. Posting directly to the forum doesn't work any more.

Spoiler alert...

I've kept the 3-axle Bruder setup and will widen the deck too.

Sorry folks for the mixup re photos.

At Hobby Havoc, the photos are definitely there... you will have to register to view them. Simple to do and free!

Quick question: Bruder Mack Granite truck. How do I get the chromed front bumper off? I have the cab, horns, tanks etc all off but can't see how the bumper is attached...?

thanks.
