View Full Version : Volvo FH12 Heavy hauler build

Well to be honest, i am not the best builder, just to be truthful, i have no patience
and probably rush things, an this build is probably the only type i would have a crack at, maybe a flat deck too

Anyway i am using a King hauler chassis which is configured as 8x4 with twin servos linked via Y lead.

SO far i am happy with the build, not too difficult as pretty much all holes already in place, all i had to do was move the cab forward using 3 x 4mm bolts, few minor mods , like the back of the cab catches with the motor, so i dremmeled a arch and made an extension to lock the cab.

still long way to go, need to order some mud guards then once those are installed i can fit the side skirts as they need to be trimmed,

Good job so far. Keep it going steady and you will be happy. I got a few Heavy Haulers coming too.

Great so far. 8x4 is probably one of the most popular layouts over here in my country but the steerers are close together up front. Looking forward to seeing your progress :)
