So after a year and some change into the construction side of R/C I decided I needed a goal instead of just digging holes in my bashing area. Put down 2 "veins" of drainage rock and covered it with 6 yds of fill dirt. Objective will be to strip down to the gravel and transport it 40ft down creek to a ramp. Will make a nice area for the kiddies to enter and exit the creek. First order of business will be to cut the haul road to the top with the D10. This will probably be a slow process so please be patient with progress. Any tips or feedback are always welcome.

Hello! My name is Michael, I'm from Russia. Tell me please! What kind of truck do you have? Please show it closer!

Hey Michael, it's a tamiya globeliner that has been cut down. Added a bruder Mack cab, 4:1 reduction, TLT rear tires filled with bb's, and a bruder dump bed with 2 Actuonix actuators.

Thank you so much! Good truck! What is his body lift? What is the lifting mechanism?

The are made by Acutonix, great little plug and play actuators. Here's their website.

I see a Castle Link hangin in the background! What other Type(s) of RC, besides the construction things are you into?

Looks great look forward to see the progress on this site. The tires look to be tamiya wild willy 2.

I mess with just about everything R/C. Tanks, boats, planes, heli's, quad's, basher trucks, crawlers, etc.

Built haul road and took first couple loads out. Had to clear haul road to start off. Operating is pretty piss poor. Had to change out TX's and need to reverse some channels. Vid is kinda long so definitely feel free to skip around though after the first 5 min or so not much going on.

Thanks for the info on the tires.

I as well am into MOST things RC. I DON'T fly anything. Too expensive for me. Has to do with my first helicopter. I spent 20 minutes in the garage setting the trims. I took it out for the maiden flight. I throttle up, it lifts about 6-8 inches off the gravel driveway. All's good, & I'm thinking, I'm really doing this, I'm flying. Next thing I know, the d@m thing turns sideways, & the blades dig into the gravel. Chewed them all up, & swore me off from trying to fly ANYTHING RC again.

I sold that heli, & 3 others (they'd NEVER been flown) to a good friend of mine for the deal of his lifetime! I just wanted to get them gone.

Yup, heli's have a pretty big learning curve. If your not willing to put a couple hours in on a sim it's hard to get great results. Been with you on that. My first heli was in parts in seconds in my garage on the maiden hover. Just have to stay with it and learn from mistakes or others on forums and flying fields.

Easy to miss, not much going on yet. Thanks for tuning in though! Hoping to get the full spread out soon, while we still have good goofing off weather. Unfortunately I'm pretty lazy on learning vid editing so they probably will never be that great.

Right on! Will keep that in mind. Throw a couple racks in the smoker and some chairs and coolers by the work site.

You should put the Mammoth down in the cut so the hoe don't have to lift so high... fuller buckets - quicker load times.

Yea, been thinking about this. Only issue with that is I'm digging to a vein of rock. Dump would be on top of vein and the cut isn't that big. Thanks for the input and keep them coming, still not completely sure how to approach this dig. Learning as I go!

I know!! I want it out too. Just doing quick dig sessions now. When I get a decent window of time I'll bring it out and get my act together on taking better vid. Hopefully this weekend, wifey out of town and kids at in laws...fingers crossed.

Definitely an argument for better valves. Can hear those suckers squealing when doing finer movements. Maybe a Jan or Feb project when weather sucks.

Yea, sorry for the way late response. Work site is down for winter and haven't checked my thread. If you haven't found any yet their's a fella on this forum that can hook you up. His handle on here is Papy.
