Looks like a new wheel loader is coming from Lesu. Looks to have metal running gear, frame, bucket etc. Plastic cab, fenders and engine cowling. Looks smaller then JD loader. I'm a noob so still working on pic posting. Check out Lesu Malaysia facebook page. Plenty of pics and vids, enjoy !!

That’s a nice looking machine. Hope the price is going to be competitive and machine is reliable as the Europeans ones.

The new loader is out, It is a Liebherr 574. I believe it weighs about 9kg. looks very detailed, very "scale". They appear to be selling it as a KIT. Price seems to be competitive with the JD Model/ rc4wd loader. As far as reliability I don't own one so I can't say for sure, but I have used plenty of Lesu parts in the past and I have been impressed by the quality and detail. The new loader can be seen at www.rclesu.com or the facebook link posted above.

Good to see more manufacturers putting these out, competition should help get prices lower.

Hows it going everyone? I purchased and recently received a new Lesu Liebherr 574 wheel-loader kit. I did a quick un-boxing video, enjoy. https://youtu.be/Ki0_S0Dvq6s

Mike, I saw your video of the new LESU Loader on FB, and here. It looks great from what I could see in your video, though I have no experience with these units only the full sized equipment. And that is minimal as well.
I'm hoping you're going to do a full assembly thread/video so we can follow your project?
How did the cost compare to the RC4WD units? I've heard a couple of different views on this. I heard at one point you could purchase just the loader with no hydraulics or electronics, but I don't know how that compares to the "kit" option from LESU and other manufacturers.
Where are you located?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Jim

Hi, I watched your unboxing video. Yes I agree with your comment "the pump is a little smaller than expected".

Wow, as for the look, it is pretty much like my Graupner 574...

Big axles. I see diff lock as well.... Looks solid.

Look forward to the build thread..

Hello. In response to Jim (jjackso5). I don't know if I will do a thread, frankly using a third party site for pic posting seems like a huge P.I.T.A. I certainly will do more videos. As to the cost I paid 3250$ plus 300$ shipping. I purchased from Lesu Malaysia, they had an introductory offer so I also received a free light and sound kit. As to my location: I'm in central florida, don't want to be more specific on the forum. Nothing personal.

In response to Lil Giants: thanks for having me aboard. I will be building this loader with my Dad, we are both looking forward to it.

In response to liftmys10: I don't know the specs of the bruder loader, but I understand they are close. The specs can be found @ rclesu.com

I'm trying to locate the proper paint, so far I have found a brand called: Iron Gard (not a typo). If anyone knows a U.S source for the proper Liebherr colors or a solid alternative let me know. So far I have a couple leads but nothing solid. I would like to get the main components painted before proceeding with the build, I really don't want to build only to have to deal with the hydraulics a second time. Thanks everyone !!!!

Mike, thank you for the response to my questions, and I understand not posting your specific location. I understand the challenge about posting pictures, but if its possible to do both pictures and videos, many of the folks on the forum will appreciate your time to do that for us. There is a link or message on this forum for a new picture hosting site that appears to be much easier to work with. I don't remember the thread it was in but possibly you can find it with a search of the forum.

As for the color question, I might suggest, if possible contact or research the manufacturers color "name and number" for their specific color. Once you have this most paint supply stores, not Home Depot or Lowes, but a true paint store, they can usually locate or match a color based on the "RAL" number system. This is like a cross-reference system used by all manufacturers, to the best of my knowledge. If someone on the forum knows differently please post for all of us, anyhow, a paint store can mix the paint you want based on this "RAL" number. You may have to call around to find someone that can doe this for you, I've used "Sherwin-Williams" paint stores to do this for me. We also have a "powder coating company" here locally that can do this too.

I'm looking forward to the build and operational testing of this unit. I'll be curious how it stacks up against the RC4WD unit.

Anyhow, thank you again for your responses. Enjoy the build and operation of this unit.

Happy Trucking, (and construction/constructing)

Jim

Welcome to have you aboard Mike, thanx for signing up

3rd party linking with just a phone is PITA... I always post up using a laptop. But pic videos during the build work great too. ;)

Have a look at this image host, no account needed to use, just set size (1024x768) - choose images - grab "hot links for forums" - copy/paste direct into reply www.http://postimages.org/

There are 6 USA locations. Go to the link below and it will show their locations. Take the link a few more steps and I am sure you will find some type of contact email or phone number for one of the locations. In general, construction equipment plants/locations sell the paint for their machines. Even in standard spray cans.

Thanks for checking out my thread and for paint suggestions. I started a build thread under the construction equipment section, all further updates will be seen there.
