Hi Guys & Gales,I'm toying with selling this scale black top roadway on the venders forum. It will come in 10' sections,intersections,90s,45s & shorter tapered end pieces. Just wondering if any one would be interested in something like this?

It kind of looks like roof shingle material, is it suitable for outdoor use?

It's more than suitable for outdoor use,you can leave it out side year round. It's not roofing material,it's something we make useing ten ft molds. It's also very flexible. Although, the backing is tar paper. We're making a ten ft piece so I can take some distance pictures. Then you can get a good idea of just how good it looks.
Thanks guys for your comments!

Sweet, I'm hoping to have my drivers license straight soon so I can get moved out to my house in the stix. The backyard I'd like to turn into a big layout, it already has some ponds I'd like to a G scale train, a dirt track, a rock course and after seeing this some roadway would be cool!

Hey freddy good idea would be great for out door events/shows, I don't have to worry about buying roadways as the community centre up the road has a new black top in the parking lot and and a school across the road

Cheers Tracy

Yes, I would be interested in buying some of your scale road. It would be great for taking photos etc.

Freddy do you have to buy it in ten foot sections. As like Alan I would like a piece to take pictures on... Of course my truck and trailer will be six feet long so it probably don't really matter, Oh well question is asked anyway.

Are you going to have corners, intersections or anything else available? How bout some custom lane stripes for double lanes, merges etc?

If you Guys draw out W/measurements useing 90s,45s,intersections & straights,we'll custom make your layout,That way there's no waste.
Mike, might as well get a ten footer, that way you won't see the ends in the pics.
Stuff you can cut it with a good razor knife,But it ain't gunna be easy.
Hey Guys Thanks for the comments!

That's pretty **** cool Freddy. Only problem is my wife will finally have her suspicions confirmed that I have gone off the deep end when she comes home and finds a 1:14 scale cloverleaf in the back yard. :D

Gotta agree this would be nice to have if for no other reason than taking cool photos. Ball park pricing figured out yet?

We're still working on the thickness thing, Once we know our cost per ft,then I'll post a price.Should be the middle of this week.
