Hello all,
I'm Matt from north central WI. I found this great site, and think your guys work is awesome.
My background is that I grew up in rural MN in a family construction business. I was really heavy in RC racing back in the late 80's and yearly 90's. Back when the Grasshopper was the thing to beat on the track.:D After High school I kept working for the fam and started driving OTR in the winters. For about 10 years I did that pulling flatbeds, over sized, and heavy haul.
The last ten years I've lived here in WI and working as an Operating Engineer in the Heavy and Hi way road building field. In 2006 I lost my left arm do to a difference of opinion with a rock crusher at work. I got through that and went back to the same old grind a year later, and still work at the same place.
About 3 years ago my now 15 yr old son and I got a couple RC trucks to dink with. They kinda been laying around here, so I thought I would rob some parts and scratch build something.
