Upper deck is 13 1/2 inches long, lower deck is 25 inches for a total length of 40 3/4 inches long. Wasn't able to measure the ramp correctly. After Indy I'm planning a Beaver Tail, Hopefully it will meet IHbuilders Inspection at Brookville in October.

Just remembered, I gotta put a piece of aluminum along the side where the ramp is. I hope to get to that later tonite. I'll get some pictures up after I'm done.
Thought that maybe After Indy I could tear it down and paint it. For right now the deck is just sitting in there. It's tight enough that it'll sit there and look pretty. This way if I'm undecided I can take it apart easily.
Thanks for the Comments guys. I do appreciate it.

Sweet looking trailer so far. How long are you ramps gonna be? Seems like it might be a steep climb for machinery unless they are pretty long. The pictures may be playing with my eyes. Can't wait to see her finished and all painted up though. Great job. :D

I was able to get the side covered up with a couple pieces of aluminum. Got a few stickers on my other trailer to make it look like the two are part of a fleet. At least I tried.

Decided to shorten up the Mud Flaps a bit. Looks a little better. Need to find some different decals for the them though.

Looking good John! You make the coolest flatbed trailers! You thought about a low loader?:D

CorbettTrailers

Hey Trucker. Thanks for the comment. Yes, I have considered a Low Loader/Low Boy. I think that is gonna be my next project over winter time. That way I have plenty of time before the Brookville meet in March 2011.
To the Drop Deck, I think I got most of it done now. Not sure how I'm going to finish the Beaver tail. I might paint the whole flat piece yellow and black strips. Kinda of a caution color. Then in the next week I gotta figure out what color to paint it. If I had to guess I think it's about 90% done. I still have to make the deck boards permenant. They are just being held in by the tightness of the fit. So far it's turning into what I had imagined.
Enjoy the pics and that's for looking!!

It took two of them to make that one. But you can always stretch yours and give it a spread axle.
