Nice start Russ. Those top loaders sure look nice. If they were heavier looking you might be able to pass them off as Mack.

this'll be something :eek: Russ, I can't remember what rc4wd calls those axles :confused: I was going to get a pair and shorten them for a mack build :rolleyes:

the frame is built and painted, i also used all aluminium cross members and mounts

Hey Russ, If I may put my 2c worth in about your suspension.
You may find that you may have to put a set of shackles on the end of the rockers because the springs have no way of expanding, it sort of shows up in one of the photos, the rocker is at a angle, & that says to me that the spring is pushing the rocker as it expands.
Have a look at my C510 front end build.
Apart from that bloody great build

on this truck i don't want a lot of flex. the beam in the center lets it have some movement with out bottoming out. the boom set up on top adds alot of weight. i run this set up on two of my own trucks and there is more movement then you would think. as a comparison this is more "flex" then the big rig rear suspension.

today i made up a mounting plate for the duel winches, they are rc4wd Bulldog 9300XT winches. they are also alot nice looking then the 3racing ones.
