So I am looking for something specific. None of the suppliers I know of have what I want. I am trying to find .25 x .5 rectangle tube, wall thickness not so important. Steel is preferred but aluminum or brass would be acceptable. I know there are a lot of resourceful fellows here which is why I am turning to you!

Thanks for any help you can give!

Steel is going to be a hard one . K&S @ LHS would have it in brass .

K&S was one of the first places I tried for brass, no go. Closest I can find is .5x.5 steel at the Home Stinko.

Thanks Neil, still not small enough though. Eagle Mouldings did have something about custom sizes, might hafta contact them.

I still have yet to ask the guy at work that orders all of our metal if he knows anything...

add http://www.onlinemetals.com to the list. They don't have it but you can have the link. Is there a reason that solid bar stock would not work?

Hey mazdaparts, Found this stuff, not quite diamond plate, still neat! Thank's for the link http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?id=858&step=2&top_cat=60
R.E. solid bar stock, is weight an issue? Do you have a mill?

My quest is boxed frame rail material for some scale 1:10 projects. C-channel would also work but I need certain sections boxed. I currently have c-channel with brazed in box sections to satisfy my needs.

I do have access to a mill, just no real spare time to use it at work.
