here's a link explaining it somewhat http://173.201.47.108/showthread.php?t=816&highlight=posting+pics

I use PB and use the copy/paste method IOW once loaded to PB you will be given 4 codes for the pic . you want the IMG code . click on it and in your toolbar under edit , choose copy . minimize PB and start your post then when you want to paste your pic , edit-past from your tool bar . you must go back and forth between PB and your post for each pic . looking forward to seeing your crane :)

Here is the start of my crane build thread.
To start with I am building a Potain IGO 70 self erecting crane. If fully built it would be 7-1/2' Tall and 8' jib. It will have a electro magnet hook atachment. that will hopefully lift sea containers
Goto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zUpryfERLM for You Tube video of crane.

Very nicely built.. looks like you should be able to have a lot of load and not have any issues it all with turning the crane.

Wow! First class engineering and craftsmanship from the very start! That video must be a real help in designing your model, huh? Very interesting crane. cant wait to see progress.

Where did you get your motor-gearhead units? They look like the ones I'm using in my crane. I got all of mine used from a friend who dumpster dived them for me. I'd sure like to know where to get nice new ones. Dan

Yes the video helps allot, also there are Potain spec. sheets online in PDF with a few over all dimensions that let you blow up to actual model size to get dimension.
I got the gear motor from Battery Space:http://www.batteryspace.com/dcmotors.aspx
