my name is shane roberts. I live in crossplains Tx about 35 miles s.e. of Abilene. Ive been trucking all my adult life till about 3 years ago when my 3rd child was born thats when i decided to get on of those home every night jobs. Now i work in a oil field supply store rebuilding down hole pumps!! ( just found this web sit and i was drawn in with the talent and precision and detail you guys have. its the coolest thing iv ever seen. hope to start my first build soon. :D:D

Welcome aboard! It's nice to see new Guys getting into this hobby.
I'm just curious though,How did you find out about this hobby,& how did you find this site?

I found some trucks on on you tube and dirt pusher's dozer and scraper and. Went to looking for construction equipment and rc trucks and I hit the motherload when I found you guys ! I hope to get started soon and I may start the trailer first ! Don't really have a plan yet !!!

thanks pump tec! my back is alot better than my shoulders at the end of the day and hands stay stained up. iv been watching some of you builds and video and like to see the skill you put into your work . I dont know how much a builder i am ive sent my king hauler cab to john at S&P to do my front fenders and sleeper and paint so will see if i can get it all mounted on some of freddys rails ! Its all new to me.

I know exactly what you mean,my right shoulder rotor cup is about shot.Been repairing pumps for the last 15 years,6 to 7 pumps a day.Its about to catch up with me.
Thanks for the complements,I to would like to build a King Hauler one of these days,having some unexpected medical bills right now with my wife.Its on hold right now.
