I received my C-15 modified to house an electric motor from Matt yesterday.

The Good:
Matt was very easy to work with, even providing a 55T motor to replace the stock can motor from Tamiya. The paint on the electric motor matches the C-15 perfectly. Matt returned the small parts that had to be cut off so I could include them in the build if I wanted.

The Bad:
The packaging of the item could have been much better - it was loose in a box with bubble wrap and peanut layers but obviously had bounced around in shipment. The paint has come off the electric motor in several places due to it not being mounted in the C-15. It freely moves in and out which it appears to have done in shipping. There is overspray on some chrome parts where the C-15 was painted. There is a 'white substance' on areas of the motor that I am assuming is due to the process of cutting out the area necessary to insert the electric motor.

The Conclusion:
I am not unhappy with the job overall. I only paid $40 to have the electric motor inserted, and this was accomplished. It was something I did not want to attempt myself, and Matt has proven he can do it. That being said, the workmanship was a bit loose and better protection in shipping probably could have saved me from having to do some touch-up on the motor.

I turned off the flash for the following shots - the white you see on the parts is something left over from the process of cutting apart the original C-15 - I am not sure what it is.
