Hello everyone,
I am new to the rc construction side of the hobby. I have been racing and building custom rc vehicles for the last 15 years. I am currently converting a bruder excavator. These type of projects really make you think, especially when your taking a 60 something dollar toy and hacking it apart. Really makes you think about every cut.

Welcome to the site. You stay with it long enough 60 bucks will be a drop in the bucket. Not that you don't want to be careful, but the parts they gets expensive. ;) There are lots of meets on that coast so you can see other builders and their trucks in person.
