I've had this done for a few months and have posted it on other boards but never this one...so here it is! (LOTS of credit goes to SmallHaul...the drive and lift design was pretty much copied from his conversion :D)

looks like another great conversion. Is the noise I am hearing the drive servos?

Yes :( One of the 4 drive servos isn't 100% neutral, so that's the noise heard when its sitting still. I live with it though...

Nice work and thanks for mentioning me. The windows and lights are a nice touch.

Still pretty good, even with the extra noise. Reminds me of a warehouse operation, there is always some extra noise around them.:)

Prertty cool! So your using servos fro drive motors? Do they hold up good?

@ SmallHaul - You're welcome :) I probably would never have attempted this if I didn't see how you did your conversion! This was my first r/c project in quite a while...your builds gave that little "push" to get started.

@ Car5858 - thanks! The noise doesn't bother me much either. You're right, adds to the realism!

@ Brian in PA - yes, the drive motors are metal gear servos modified for continuous rotation (SmallHaul's creation). They are holding up quite well for me, with the limited run time I've got on them. Sadly, I haven't yet created a sandbox to play in yet :(
