We were gonna visit last yr while there, but didn't have time. Hamburg is a nice city.

That is amazing, I'm impressed with the computer controlled cars, how does that work? Do they follow a strip in the road or something?

Sadly I have never been at the Miniature wunderland, it's only about 270miles from where I live, if you take a close look at the video, then at the one minute marker you see two trucks from the legendary Danish trucking company P.C.Holm Pedersen, I worked there in the nineties, one of my RC trucks is a model of on of the trucks from that company.

That is one of my favourite set of videos to watch and daydream, one day i'd love to get over there to see it.

@Bricknick - The cars IIRC are made by a german company called Feller. I looked into it a couple of years ago. If you're willing to go the whole hog with the setup (like miniature wonderland have), you can make 24/7 rolling cities that almost look alive. I believe it uses alum/copper under the road surface, and works similar to DCC in trains. I know that when the cars/trucks are low on power, they re-route themselves and drive out the back to automated charging stations.

I was there 09 and plan to go there again so i get to see the newly built airport.

It's just a fantastic exhibition :D
