I ordered my first King Hauler Kit. I'm looking forward getting it. I got it on Ebay. I keep on tracking the tracking number to see were it is. I checked it out today and it says it was delivered. I wrote to seller. They contacted the shipper. And said it was left at the front door. I never got anything. I have no idea what happens now. I got hundreds of packages delivered with out any problems. Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

Yep! I went to all my neighbors and no luck. I really think someone picked it up.

Did you pay with paypal and was it insured? If it wasn't signed for you aren't liable and should get every penny back. It may take some time and hopefully your seller is willing to work with you.

Yep! I did pay with Pay Pal through Ebay. I'm not sure if the seller Insured the package or not. It was shipped through UPS, I'm not sure if the will be helpful or not either.

Call 1-800-pick-ups and give them an earful. Contact the shipper and explain what happened. Contact Paypal if the item was eligible for paypal protection. You might even contact the police and file a stolen property report. I hope it works out for you.

Thank you! I was thinking of going over to the police station.

Well hopefully if some kid did pick it up the parents will question him or her about where they got it and hopefully you will get it returned.

Not trying to be nosy or anything but if you live in an apartment complex did you check at the manager's office?

I had a UPS driver leave a large box for me inside my open garage bay door. I didn't notice it until the next day. Several people were home. No one heard the door. It was Christmas season and I think he just ran up the drive and ditched it in the garage.

Another time I shipped a Lexan body to Oklahoma. The buyer wrote that he came home expecting a package but found nothing at the door. He happened to notice something sitting in the far end of a field behind his house. He investigated and was bewildered but overjoyed to have found his box. There had been very high winds that day and the light box had been blown away.

You may not have a garage and I wouldn't expect a King Hauler could get blown away. Just saying that weird things can happen. Sad but it was probably pilfered. I hope it turns up or you get it resolved quickly.

FYI even though a shipper specifies to have it signed for the default on each address (not person) is to leave it. If you want to sign for your packages you not only have to change the specifics for each person but for the address as well.

I've lost many things due to new drivers and this fairly new rule.

Did you go down to the main office that delivered it? I had a package one time they said they delivered it but had to go to and get it from them saying it was too big. I brought the tracking number and any info i had with me.....just a thought.

Hey Bsorenson79 sorry to hear about your missing delivery. I've had my share of problems with UPS as a shipper, a receiver, and as shipper of insurance packages. I do not ship anything with UPS anymore. My frustration level with them just is not worth my efforts. They cost me $$$ in damaged and lost goods and dealing with the customer service people has always been a waste of time. I mainly use USPS for all my shipment and I also encourage my vendors and supplier to do the same.

I hope your package turns up. The last time I had shipped UPS was for Mother's Day. UPS showed delivery. They said the driver dropped the package on the front porch. Three days later after my brother was cutting my mom's lawn, he found the package in the foliage next to the house on the driveway side. Not on the porch like the driver said he drop it! Lazy AZZ driver... I bet he never got out of the truck and just dumped and ran.
Take another look... It may be out there.

Here is a update. Yesterday the UPS guy comes to my door. He starts out with a attitude asking me if I'm sure I didn't get the package. I got pissed off!!! Then he starts saying you know from now on you're gonna have to sign for everything you receive. That's totally fine with me. I rather do that to avoid this again. Then he starts saying well if you're not here the package will be sent directly back to the shipper. The way he was saying was like a threat. My wife and I get hundreds of packages sent to our home every year and never once had a problem. This whole problem has been a nothing but a nightmare. The only good thing I have to say is the shipper was very helpful through out this whole time. Today after writing to the shipper and telling them what happened with UPS, they gave me a refund. Lesson learned. I'm going to my local hobby shop and buying it. It's gonna cost a little more but it's not gonna turn into a nightmare. Hopefully not anyway! Just as long as my truck doesn't blow up or hit by a meteor while I'm driving home.

glad your getting a refund! i have always received my packages too! i order lots of stuff all year long and so far so good! i also go to my lhs and they are usually very competitive on their prices for larger items sometimes they are cheaper and like you said then its their headache not yours. when i order things i need to sign for i just have it sent to my neighbors house because he is retired and is usually home.

I've been following this and must say how relieved I am to hear it all turned out well for you. Should've, could've, would've ... I hope everyone learned from this.

I know I had my heart in my throat when I first read it but this morning you're on your way to a new truck!

Glad to hear it worked out. If the shipper was smart he insured it for retail/replacement price. And the "threats" the UPS driver made are ignorant. UPS has to make 3 attempts to deliver a package and you will get a notice on your door or in your mailbox each time they attempt to deliver it.
