View Full Version : First Tractor Truck Build - Peterbilt Daycab

Hello all, I have been inspired by many of your trucks and have finally cracked open my Tamiya King hauler kit to build a truck. It has been sitting for the past year and have finally found a truck I want to replicate. It is nothing special but will be very suitable for hauling a dump trailer and lowboy for my future excavator.

This is the prototype truck:

This is my progress thus far. It isn't much, but it's a start. What glue do you guys recommend for fastening pieces to Tamiya hard bodies?

Glad to see I'm not the only one that likes to run my trucks across train tracks!! LOL!!

hahaha! Yeah I collect HO and G scale trains and I put some track down every once in a while to run a few. I don't have a layout or anything... yet. You into model railroading as well? I collect mainly stuff that is prototypical to the Delaware & Hudson RR.
