Tamiya Flatbed stretch??

I'm looking for a thread that had a good how to on converting two flatbeds to make a single 48 or 53 foot flatbed. If I remember correctly you could donor just using the parts from the two kits not needing and additional Metal stock.

Does anybody remember seeing this thread or have some good pics of your conversion? Am also thinking of doing split axle bit unsure of what additional parts this would require.
