Hey guys here is my 53 foot spread axle race trailer I built out of a Bruder drop trailer and A LOT of Alum.. I am missing some of my picks of the build but here is what I have.

Now I am not totally sure any more but I think i stretched the top deck out 6 inches and the lower deck out 10 or 12 inches I can remember. All the plastic was filled back in and the frame beefed up with alum angle. The upper alum frame is all angle and then the angle braces are just flat alum strap. All the alum is bolted together and this trailer can handle way way more weight then i can get in it. I have new alum rims I need to get installed on it still.

The sides are made out of .080 sheet plastic as is the tailgate. the roof is set up so it comes off so you can see inside.

The outside was done by the shop that does the body wraps on my work vans and he did a out standing job. the sides are all printed out then applied.

An oldie, but a goody! I remember when you built that. A SUPER job.

By the way, we missed you and the boys (and the wife) at Indy last week. Alex (Dieselkid) told me that you were not coming and Alex himself had an abbreviated appearance himself.

OK so I sold it and got lucky enough to buy to back "Thanks Keith" so I wanted to do to it what I planed on doing to it the first time and that is a pulling team trailer so I got started on it. I was raised on Case tractors so the 2590 was one of my favorite tractors on the farm so I found a team that was all case tractors and went from there. I had my decal guy get some red in the strips on the trailer to match the Reiks semi I built so here is where I am at.

Paul I'm surprised the rear wheels are so wall to wall, I know they are 30.5-32 but it is still 1/16 scale, if it were a 1/14 puller tractor it wouldn't even fit.

Great job, nice to see a tractor that is not green, I like Deere but they are not the only tractor.

I like the pulling tractor theme, Paul. A much better twist for someone into these RC trucks and equipment. I was going to comment that your model pulling tractor fits about as tight in your trailer, as they do in 1:1 scale! I've seen them with not much more then a few inches per side, from the tires to the trailer walls.

Claus thanks much I know I like deere too but I like Case better :D But now on the trailer Bruder is 1/16 so really the inside of the trailer is 1/16 but the out side is 1/14 in width as I added my sides on the out side of the old trailer.. That is why it looks right like it should.;)

Love it! Can't wait to see the tool boxes, my dad sold snap-on for 22 years in Iowa when I was growing up. Plus you sold me on the plate :)

Awesome work.
