Swapped a truck MFU for this and some cash:

Should keep me busy as it came as a box load of bits, someone has started to build it and pulled most of the plastic parts off of the spru's:confused:

There's a few bits missing which should be quite easy to replace, but all the electronics etc were still in the original sealed packets, first thing I did was pull them all out, connect it up and make some tank noises:D

This will be a slooow build so please bare with.

It is certainly one interesting model to build...

I hope you have a ton of plastic and metal bits out of shot though.

At least check the manual and verify which bits you are missing.

Cheers,
AP

Do you run it with stock motors or something different?

So far I'm pleased with the swap:)

A big box full of stuff:eek:
Slowly going through the book and making a list

Not much progress on the actual build although I have stripped down the gearbox and reassembled it with the gears in the right places now it works:D

You can get any or all of the parts you need from the AAF in Danvile VA.

Glad to see you makeing progress and super happy to hear you are satisfied with our deal.

Bummer on the gear boxs being assembled wrong, I never did anything with the kit, so the previous owner must have goofed them up.

Looking forward to seeing this come together and rolling.

Hey Dev, the gearbox was the easy part, just followed the instructions in the book;) The real bummer is trying to figure out whats missing:confused:

But I'm getting there, just need to save up now so I can order the parts all in one go, its suprising how soon it adds up:eek: Still happy with the deal though, have you played with that mfu yet?

Yeah, that has to be a challenge sorting threw all that to figure out what is missing.

I have not had a chance to mess with the MFU yet. I will this weekend as I actually traded it to a buddy for an older version with no esc. We will be hooking yours up to his rig on Saturday when he brings his radio over.
