Hi everyone,

Is someone can advise me about what kind of hydraulic hose I can use on a excavator with an hydraulic working pressure of around 800 psi ? The exterior size must be in scale for a 1/12 or 1/10 scale...

Thanks,

Gaetan

Vanisle has hose and fittings check with him. I am running 4mm OD for my bucket and 5 or 6 mm for the main stick and bypass. He is under buy and sell. Ed

The eaton air line that I use is rated for around 300 psi working pressure and 1200 psi bursting stength. I was playing with the pump and boom cylinders on my excavator before I had a relief valve and mistakenly bottomed out the cylinders. Before the pump stopped turning I seen the gauge to just over 40 bar(close to 600psi). The hose was fine but I have a plastic Y fitting in line and it blew it apart! I'm not sure how long it would last at that much pressure but I'm running 30 bar(435psi)+ with no issues.
