i ran across this website emachineshop.com sometime back that does custom machining. you download their free cad program, design your part, request an instant quote if you like the price, order it and in about a month or so you have your part, pretty cool. i had them make me a set of custom wheels and they turned out nice, in about 3 weeks.

Thanks for posting this, I think this could be really good for our hobby especially for the members that don't have a machine shop right next door for those special one off parts.
