yep just striping some asphalt, between the rush of trucks, making more area to excavate. going down about 18 feet across the whole site.

I operate cat pattern. you don't need me to show you how it's done, after watching your guys videos it looks like you can handle them, but I will still take a chance at running them.

Great job you have Jason.

This thread would be even better if you could document the jobs you do with the excav & dozer in the Walmart lot over the next yr. ;)

thanks
well I can try to do that, so I wasn't on the excavator today, we had to build a road and landing. for a dump site for all the clay that will I will be digging up from the uptown project. so today I was on the D6H pushing fill. sharing the d5 with another operator spreading gravel, and on the very old and crappy john deere 892 (not worth the pics) stacking lock blocks. that was my day, tomorrow I am on a cat 420 backhoe, digging test holes for a underground hydro trench. then hopefully, the by monday they will have more area ready for us to dig at the walmart site.

well been busy at work, long days and working weekends, right now. lots happening at work so not much on my rc trucks. anyway shot a little video of me loading a truck today, I was cleaning up the last of a pile before I hopped on the dozer and built a road.

sorry for the sound I left the radio on in the machine, and the only place I had to put my phone to shoot the video was at the bottom of the window just below my knees so it looks like I am really low, my actual level sight line is bit over the top of box.

wow your listening to the radio???
Ive seen guys fired for that down here on long island:(
the company i worked for removed all the radios from the trucks
after a accident.
a pay loader hit a dump truck in the side
and the d/t driver was the boss of another company and
pitched a fit about the guy listening to the radio, that night all the trucks were parked the mechanics ripped all the radios out:(

I usally don't listen to the radio. and if I am it is only if I am just loading trucks. if I am working on grade prep, or digging main line. working with guys on the ground I always have it off.

well been really busy on the uptown project, and things are looking really diffferent, we have a pretty big hole in the ground now, and we finally finnished digging out the contamites now we are trucking out clean clay till we find rock, and working on subsgrade. but since my last post on this thread I haven't spent much time in the cat 328, I have been a bigger beast, it is old and getting pretty tired but it has a bigger bucket and longer reach so it get the trucks out faster. here is the john deere 992LC. so any of you local guy happen to drive by the site you will probably see me in this .
