I don't think you could of chosen a tougher Bulldog to build way to go :D I've always had a soft spot for them since I saw them on the Weetbix collector cards when I was a kid

haha thanks bro :) nah it wont be single axle lol! i just dont have another 2 axle truck right now to use for this, i took my garbage truck apart but the frame and everything cab still intact lol i dont plan taking that off there i gotta build more garbage trucks some day LOL so yea im just using this merc frames for now to get a feel for how its gonna come out :) heheh should be nice!!! hopefully I will have updates for you guys later tonight :)

don't take this the wrong way but i think if your putting a sleeper on it, you should make it by had too.

I would and could too but I want the details in there I wont be able to make those details by hand and surprisingly no one noticed that the sleeper doors were backwards?

I cut it apart again to fix it, I wasnt thinking about that when i put it together now the hinges are facing the right way and so is the door handle

little update fender is on now and little details done along it :) i also shortened the grill abit it was too tall before
so now its cool looking and matching :)

Updates truck is now aboutttt hmmm 90% complete? fenders are mounted needs a little putty work there :p and need the roofs done for the sleeper and the cab after that ill be done :) also have to cut a littele back door on the back that leads to the sleeper but getting there :) so far so goood :)

this year, everyone is making them
i had planned to make various parts to sell, but it looks like it just wont be worth it for me to even bother
i was going to make alot of unique parts
was in negotiation for some masters that no one has
i think i just might abort that plan and just build for myself
maybe buy the masters anyway and build them rather than make molds

i guess i'll just build one of a kinds for myself
i'm building a large display case
my trucks will go into this case and when i'm up in age where i'm not mobile like i am now, i'll just sell it off for whatever i can get
silvio here is a great builder
he will keep you guys supplied with great trucks and parts
this mack he is building is just a sample of his ability

No I'm an over the road rig kinda guy, personally im a Pete 359/ Kw W900L kinda guy but i also have a real soft spot for the pete352/ Kw k100 my father owned roughly 30 different tractors while I was growing up. Macks are just work horses, so you gotta respect em. I like Mack from my mechanic stand point, tough as nails and run forever.

I don't want you to be disappointed , but this is a picture of a 281 needle nose not a 359..

The best tell between the 359 and the 379 is the 359 has the air cleaner tubes visible, where the 379 has them out of sight.

the 281 in your photo looks to be about a 63-65 model.

Don't let the fact that it has a 379 stand-up sleeper on it throw ya.

Mine will be a long while. I can't build more than one thing at a time. My OCD would drive me to drink if I did. I have to concentrate on one project at a time or I don't think I am doing either of them good enough.
