The model seems to be of good size & weight.

Those drive motors are Dimatz hydraulic drive motors. Ed

Apparently the model has parts from a number of suppliers, and I also think those drive motors are from Damitz.

Cheers,

That price includes the 19% VAT, which you & I outside europe don't pay.. but still, it's pricy! Seems to be a worthy size, weight & hyd power though, might be a better digger than most in its class.

You can also shave a few houndred Euros off by buying it as a kit.

All The parts look to be from Damitz, they have the same picture on their website. I was very close to buying an O&K RH 6.6 but after some research, turned out to be not strong enough and the space for batteries is limited to only one size, If this one has the same setup it will not be on my list either. I love the look, the Hydraulic drive and turn table, but I think I will go with a Liebherr 944B instead. Just seems more powerful and stronger.

That 6799 Euro is 5714 or 7474.66 US when you deduct the VAT tax. Ed

Saw this model when I was in Dortmund last April. Found out that the maker bootlegged the design from Damitz. Damitz is great no matter how you cut it. Tried them all at Dortmund. BTW, I think Damitz is upset with the alledged theft of his design and involved in some legal thing with the maker. Also, they only had one unit.
