Was wondering what is a good way to bend aluminum? Do they have like a small sheet metal bender for small bends or what would yaw suggest?

Thanks in advance Keith

Hey Keith, I use a vise to make small bends .I know it can be hard to put several bends in a vise but usually can do it if you think about it and plan your bends.I also have a small 36 inch break but it wont do real small bends.

I have used my wood vise in the past, it doesn't leave marks. I have thought many times of buying one of these. http://www.grizzly.com/products/12-Bench-Hand-Brake/G7147

If I was you I would look at the one that Harbor Freight has it shears and bends metal for $ 399http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_17906.jpg and if you can get a 20% coupon it would be $ 320 . Ed

Thanks everybody :D.

Woodhog that's kinda what I was thinking about doing.

Snochaser will have to look into that :D.

Jammer will see what I can do about that one to lol.

Was gona try and make me some light panels for under the door and sleeper. I don't have any tools right now lol. When I get my tax money I'm gona invest in some :D. I was gona get a drill, a saw (not sure what kind) and one of the Benders. So I'm open for suggestions :D lol
