I think there should be a stickie to list suppliers members have used?
Here's one that I've used in the past for my brass tubing.

Added another for angles tubing beams ect.http://www.specialshapes.com/index.html

Here is a good place for silver soldering supplies. ( If you are looking for small amounts). They are pricey but the silver soldering paste works GREAT!!

This is a good idea guys but just keep it limited to hardware building supplies and stuff like what has been linked in the previous post. We would like you to not post links to truck parts, accessories, trailers, hydraulics, etc as some members on here have shown an interest in being a vendor and if that member is going to have competition on the board the competition will pay to be a vendor as well. We are trying to get the vendor section set up but please remember that the board is just over a month old and it will take some time to get things organized.

Thanks
Travis

Those are my words exactly Travis. I didn't want to step on the toes of PAYING advertisers but just sources for more common items that have been listed for us scratch builders.

Try these folks for your small hex head nuts and bolt. The best prices I've found yet.

What kind of loads you looking for?

You could buy some small dia pipe from the hardware store. Some I-beams, maybe would look nice if they were weathered and some numbers spray painted on in some ugly bright orange. I think Ric sells some large crates, boxes and pallets, plus some other stuff.
This link should take you there. Hope this helps.

Oh and I too think this list would be good squeezed down and made sticky...

i like the idea too but it would be nice to have a couple of sources for hydralic pumps and things of that nature and sorry but i think competion for sales is a way of life everyone always looks for good deals and the most acomidating sales person that knows their stuff its not always the lower price that wins say a hydro pump was 400 across seas and it is 500 here in the states and could have it within 2 days and any other parts maybe warrinty or something i would more than be happy to pay the 500 cuz its closer and faster to get here but if the sales guy isn't nice or helpful then i would rather go else where the way i see it just my 2 cents i like to have choices
