First RC conversion

I am looking to convert a 1/16 John Deere 4050 to rc and i have no idea where to start. I am an experienced Ho railroad modeler so i have a little skills. I also have a metal lathe and mill to use.I guess some good sources for parts and different types of motor drives is a good start. I have a few servos from an airplane but nothing else. Any help would be appreciated!!

Post up a pic of ur tractor,,,,there are several of us on here that have done diecast conversions, this will be interesting to help.

Interesting project! Will it be a 2wd or 4wd?

Went to hobby town to look at some stuff and scored everything but a rear axle and some sort of transmission. I thank a Tamiya rear end and some sort of gear reduction will work. I'll try to upload som pics.
