Joe I got this started as you can see but seeing your offering I have a dozer that needs assembly I know you could handle that. Next week I have to go to see the man who did my dump trailer I got the frame for the box all bolted together and he is going to redo the aluminum tub and stainless sides over so I am pert busy right now because when I get it all bent I have to bolt it together I'm telling you I think I better go find a job so I can take a break. I've got to slow down because my back and shoulder is really bothering my. Ed

Thank you very much but I have one thing to say about this build and the company that builds this model is would seem to me that they could put some stronger parts in the kit so that when you handle it and have to put screws and nuts in hard places that you don't break parts that are very flimsy and break when trying to do doing this in tight spots. Thank goodness for JB Weld and Home Depot for fixes.Ed:mad:

Wow. I always thought the Stahl models were pretty high quality. What kind of parts are breaking, Ed? Was considering one of these loaders for a while now, but I hate hearing that they are light or flimsy.

Nate so far you can't really see them in the picture but the bracket that hold the front housing to the side I had to make it out of L channel, there was a stamped sort of piece and just moving it when trying to get the bolts in it broke. What I did made it stronger. There are a few other things so far like holes not taper. I guess I am to picky but for the money you have to pay for one I guess if the directions were in English it would help, took it apart 3 times to get it right , O well still got lots more to do . I am at a stand still sort of I am missing some parts and TTM said if Stahl understood what was missing it would be two weeks. I should start the dozer but I would have parts laying all over the place and wouldn't know what went were. O well patients and perseverance some day I'll get to run them. Ed:confused:

I want to build some construction equipment, besides Wedico, who else make good kits?
Where did you get your Stahl kit?

Thanks

Paul

Ahh, that's no fun Ed. Missing parts. Broken parts. I hope you have better luck with this model soon. I'd like to see it all put together and running.

Nathan I'd like to see it together to that why I bought the excavator all put together and now I wish I did it to the dozer and loader, it not a perfect world. Justrinside I got my stahl dozer and wheel loader from TTM Functionsmodellbau in germany they did work with me got a dozer a loader batteries and electrics. They are not cheap because of the Euro. I have had a few problems and the language is one instructions are in german and on this model the illustrations are lacking I think I guess that is why they say you should have some experience with building these models. Garden Trucking in the states sell Stahl and there is a place in New York city that sells them there name is VSC Hobbies. Ed

Thanks.
Who is TTM? Do they have a website.

Thanks again

The New York shop is called VCS Hobbies. They have a website too. Backyardtrucking.com The thing about buying from a North American dealer is that I don't think many actually stock these models. With the Euro vs. US dollar forever changing, so you end up waiting if you order in America, or if you order from Europe. They all come from the same place in the end.

Paul TTM web site is www.TTM-Funktionsmodellbau.de or www.TTM.Shop.de they deal with Stahl that is were they get the models and his web site is www.stahl-modellbau.de and you can see what he has. VCS site is www.VCSHobbies.com there you go. Ed
