View Full Version : for my uncle! 1/24 scale kenworth aerodyne

well long story shortened a lot, my uncle passed away last january. he was a furniture mover since before i was born. he drove a ton of different truck, but his favorite was the aerodyne. so may aunte has been cleaning out the storage room over the past year and found a 1/25 aerodyne from 1987. well as a salute to him, i am building this truck to the specs he has on a napkin stuck to the model packaging.
just working on getting pics up. should be tonight for the start

thank you sir. was going to take a pic to the grave site for him too. it will be an atlas unit like this one, but with more modern touches.

Good looking rig, I never really liked the pop up sleeper thing but with a drom it works pretty good.

Thank you big John! As soon as I am done the rest of these projects, I will be working on the 1/14. Thinking of doing a freightshaker raised roof with a 8 foot drome. Need to get back to work on my rig rat before I do it though. Lol too much on the to I guess.
