OK Ive been into 1.1 truck and tractor pulls all my life, and Ive been researching the RC world of pulling for a while. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advise or tips for me. Any info at all will help. I know a lot of the ntpa rules and regulations(1.1 pro circuit) but i don't know much about the RC version.
thanks.

DieselKid and myself were some of the first members of NRCTPA years ago (better than 10 plus years). DieselKid was just a kid and he pulled a '55 Chevy P/U 2WD that I built (and he still has). He beat a lot of the big boys.

This weekend they have the RC Nationals at Holiday City, OH (located on the Ohio turnpike in NW Ohio) just 30 minutes from us. They really put on a show.

I have always wanted to RC a 1/16th scale tractor.not so much to pull, but to load and unload off my truck and trailer.Maybe if enough people showed some interest maybe we could think up some rules such as weight, tire and engine size etc and build a workable sled.I would say the way to get more people involved would be to keep it simple and fairly cheap. Then add bigger classes as the sport grows?.Also we could have a semi truck class, keep it fairly stock?.Oh well something to think about over the winter,Randy.
