Well trying to build alittle version of the 1:1 I drive out of spare parts and from parts of a redo...hopefully it will be close when finished...:o:confused:

Looking good, John. I like your rear fenders. Your truck, with those fenders reminds me of another 1:1 Peterbilt I saw some photos of on the net. Probably Hank's truck pictures or something. If you color match the rear fenders to the cab, it will be really close to the one I am thinking of. Very nice.

Myself, i'm not a fan of that style of rear fender, but they do look good. Awesome shine to the paint on the cab.


I'm just happy to see more and more guys finally closing up the radius on the front fenders. The stock Tam radius is pathetically out of proportion.

Thanks guy's....I'm not a huge fan of those fenders either Rick...I will have painted full fenders on there but a different style...Been plugging away at it...more stuff on it by tomorrow...:D

John, I know you copying the 1:1 truck you drive, but here is the one your model reminds me of, at least with the rear fenders you have in the photos. :D

Thanks alot Nathan...Those are the style fenders i want on this...and I actually have the same set but with 3 tail lights in them for the 1:1...I dont like the stainless ones that are on the 1:1..So when i get them painted to match they will be on there....:D:D

I will be putting one in there driver....I have to build the frame for it...It sticks out on the 1:1.. not flush mount like the older ones..:confused:

It looks good out there in the sun, John. Paint looks great. I like that the fenders are color matched. Did you change your mind about the rear wrap-arounds that you had in your first post? Or are you still working on them?

John, those fenders are the bomb, buddy! Hey, you know, I'm thinking the fuel tanks would look pretty sweet if they were painted red to match the cab and fenders. Keep the straps polished and raw. But that's just me! This is your truck, and a heck of a truck it is. :D

Truck looks awesome John. Another great build. You should put a drywall anchor spring in that fifth wheel to keep it tipped back when bobtail. Oh yeah, the new fenders are sweet too.

Thanks guy's....I loved the way they turned out...The fenders are from pmd...They come raw so this way you can trim them up for the look you want.....they are fiberglass just like the 1:1:eek::D:D

Looks great John, couldn't find the fenders on PMD's site. Where did you find them. Good idea Roadranger, never thought of a pen spring. Don't want to high jack the thread, but could you post how to set the pen spring up?

Thanks John, glad you liked the stuff... if ya think the peanuts were a pain for you, ya should have tried cutting them all up:D:D

The pallet, boxes and all that was just a gag for you and Paul.. That will not be a normal thing for anyone else... The pallets were a cinch, but the boxes were a pain to make.

Let me know as soon as you get the mounts on. I want to see how they fit.

Thank's Andy...The light plate is a piece of aluminum that i found...I just cut it to size, sanded and polished it the added the lights..:D:D:D
