After looking at Davo's build I decided to go ahead and dig into mine. The usual thing happen, Project ADD , I'm like a little kid, I start something and half way through I decide to move on to something else. So here is where I'm at so far, I probably say this everytime, but I hate building euro cabs, they are a pain, but when finished they look awesome. Anywho, here she goes:

I'm not gonna put the battery on the bottom so I just glued the tanks to the rails

The electronics that will go in

This guy apparently does not believe in iPhones as you can see, a 20 year old phone is what he likes, whatever.

That's Ivana , his new squeeze and coworker .

I know it's a mess but I'm not done yet, still have to paint some stuff black and get all the wiring done and plug all the lights, but for now it looks like a truck.

Not only an old-school phone but an atlas and no GPS, for shame! :) Great details, looks great so far. Just curious where'd you get the driver and Ivana?

Awesome Merc mate, curious, does the Merc come with a Brushless motor, as stated on Tamiya America website specs?

Good question, I usually use my own motors (85t) on this one. But I doubt they put a brushless motor for that price. I'll look in the box later.

Nice to see one that's being done competently, however! ;) Looks great, wish I thought of that as a colour.

Finally finished it. What a pain in the rear that was. Wayyyyy too many wires and not enough space, Most people take off the interior and black out the windows but I like to keep it, it's tight but will work. I'm happy with it for a work truck. Gonna do it's share of long hauls.
