Ed,

I might like to come down. What small airports are near you that I could fly into in a private plane?

Thanks

Koch Park... was that how it was spelt Nathan? I had to think for a while what you were talking about  I guess it had more meaning for you to remember it, have fun with it buddy. :D

The way the weather has gone on the last month... well, the whole summer for that matter, I'll likely still be combining mid Oct... shut down since last Wed with rain again... each day getting shorter, cooler... I'm about 2/3's done at this point. :(

Fire says no to St. Louis show. Lost almost everything I own that's rc. Excavator made it out relatively unscathed though. Just full of water now.... Still going through all the debris to pull out anything left. Think I saw the box for the Black Freddy Dump and the Blue Mack that Izzy built in ok shape. Trailers are dust, tri-axle is completely done. Still don't know the cause of the fire. I was fortunately out of town when it happened. If I was home, I'd be in the burn unit at the hospital.

DAYUM!!!

That was the coolest man-cave I have ever seen... I bet it'll be 10x better yet after the rebuild.

I hope you had taken lots of pictures of everything in there? ...a big help with insurance

...that reminds me, I had better re-inventory my own collection.

Wishing you & the missus a painless recovery from this unfortunate event. :)

Wow. So sorry for all you lost Nate but very happy to hear everyone is ok.
I always fear theft and losing it all but to go home and see the destruction and what's left after a fire:eek:..... I can't imagine how that feels. My heart goes out to you and your wife.

Looks like the closest option is St Charles county (KSET) with Creve Coeur (1H0) close as well. I may do this if I'm able to go as well, gonna be a toss up whether Soybean harvest is rolling by then and whether I have the wheat planted. And, of course, weather will play a part in the flying part for this VFR pilot....Instrument rating on the list of to-do's this winter!

Thanks for the update! Maybe later in the winter will work better for me anyway, I guess the building across the street now has tenants? Man that was a sure fire way to get spoiled to a lot of space!
