Ben we call them Mule Ears do to there mule ear like shape. You did a very nice job ben..

I've been thinking long and hard on how to do them with what tools and resources I have available to me...just haven't tried yet. I doubt they will come out without imperfections though. That's why I'm apprehensive to try.

Which are you speaking of Wayne? The original turnouts are easier to do than the "mule-ears". Or are you talking about "rounded" turnouts.

The rounded would be the hardest to get rounded then straight and true.

I believe the "mule ears" will be the only turnout sets I'll offer going forward. I think they look a lot better.
