so i put this firgelli actuator in my truck it works great, but i need moire tip angle. i cant really stand it up or move it back more with out it not being able to
lay the bed all the way down. any idea's how to get more angle without losing lifting power. its has just enough power to the bed full.

Going to be hard to do without either moving it, or making a hinged lift bar, but if you make the lift bar a little longer between the bed and hinge point than it is between the actuator and hinge point then it would give you more lift angle, but less lifting power!!! I am new to the model building, but my redneck brain tells me that's going to be difficult to fix without changing to a stronger actuator, or screw drive!!!

well this is what the truck lifts to now.

Turn it around opposite way, put connection to box at rear and frame to front. Should help.

well it was binding. and just pushing the bed back, against the hinge

If it was binding with it the other way then the actuator was probably too flat when in the down position, try to put it back the other way and lower the mount on the frame a little to get more upward push than pushing to the back!!! Maybe that will help!!! I know geometry vs power can be a real booger!!!

Why not try to build a scissor type lift mechanism, driven by the Firgelli? It can increase the range of travel, and increase the mechanical advantage, for the oomph it needs to get the box up and tipping.
