I see a lot of guys using powered steer axels. I'm thinking of building a cement truck and would like to use one....are the TLT axels the same ratio as stock tamiya truck axels? Will they bolt directly to the truck front axel?

Can you suggest a good afordable transfer case, Any tips are welcome.

Thanks

The TLT 's are the same , you will have to drill the spring or make a plate that can hold the spring to the housing.

T-case you have few to choose from that are reduction boxes or just 1:1 .

eBay has them search under 1/14 transfer case

I used a TLT in the front of my Scania to make it 6 wheel drive. I ended up buying a new 2 speed trans with transfer built in as I also wanted to slow the truck down quite a bit, and the stock tamiya 3 speed is enormous on its own without worrying about a transfer case.
I also bought some lesu springs from ebay that already had the spring holes in them for direct mounting to the TLT axle.
