Picked this thing up for a steal of a deal, didn't like how it looked.

Flat Blue Angels blue...yuck...So I did a repaint

Much better now, though after a heap of new chrome, it looked even better. Almost perfect, I felt. Even had room for my raven.

Well...then I thought it was too short, so I went out, got her a new set of rails

Much better cosmetically, though I hate the turning radius now, but it looks so much cooler, I can live with it.

I like it more now. But, it's still not right...needs something to fill that giant void behind the cab. I've got a couple King Hauler steps here, I just need to drill the chassis, mount them, then get some mesh, or scale diamond plate. More pics to come!

Got the boxes, and got some mesh that works quite well, so now it's closer to being finished.

I think I might get a set of full fenders for the back.

A32limited - if you are interested in some more turning ability .....
- not sure about the Globe Liner - but make sure the drag link is behind the axel not in front - this helps a bunch

then for more actual pivot ....

take a coarse hand file or a dremel and cut away some of the inside of the yoke on the front axel - this will allow the hub carriers to pivot more.

Then take and make a drag link between the two side that was a bit of a bend at each end - helps clear the U-Bolts at the springs.

Next - use a standard servo horn with a little more length

Depending on the drag link you may find the shock hanger binding up the last little bit - i ussually just clip off the outside and only run the inner.

Can gain a good bit for ya.......

Hey Izzy- thanks for that. Next time I have the truck apart, I think I'll do that conversion.

Thanks Cummingsman. It looks even longer then it before, but I like it, I sort of regretted going an extra two inches on the chassis, but the boxes fit in perfectly, and work so well with it, that I'm happy with it cosmetically.

Now to figure out how to make wires and air hoses to run from the tractor to the trailer.

Looks good! I like the raven on the back, is that your signature design?

Romelio- Thanks. You should sell the Knight Hauler and get a Globeliner. :D

Trucker- Thanks, I have the raven on two of my trucks, but they're not my design, I picked a bunch up from Ebay for a scaler I don't know if I'll ever complete, and I've been using them for other things. One was a test, that was on my GMC, the other was one that WAS meant for "Project Little Crow." I just thought it would look cool on it.

Above the grill where "Globeliner" would've been on the stock truck, I'm thinking of painting "Big Bird." I just need to figure out what paint I want to use, and get a fine enough brush.
