ok your guys's and gals trucks are 1/12 right? ok what would be the measurements from a pete or kw day cab if it was in 1/10 scale? i need good pics and measurements please my lowboy will be 10 inches wide the wheels/axels of the truck will be ten inches wide but as far as the cab i have no clue and i know the tires will be close to 3 inches tall hmmmm might take a couple of motors to make this one go lol

You could start with a Tamiya BullHead body, they are 1/10 scale.

Clyde the Tamiya trucks are 1/14th and the tires are 3.25 in so if your going for 1/10th scale you will need some bigger tires close to 4.5 in. As for measurements on the cab i will have to get back to you unless someone beats me to it.

i donno if i need to make it 1/10th then i was tryin to scale to my dozer and when i measured the lowboy width it was 8 feet scale that to 1/10 and it comes out to 10 inches right? 1 1/4 to 12 inches or per foot

Nothing to be sorry about asking questions and sharing your ideas is how you will figure out what you are going to need.

If your dozer is 1/10th scale then the trailer needs to be 9.95in to be a scale 8in narower than the dozer.

Kind of an odd scale to go with. 1.25" = 12" ?

Works out to be about 1/9.6th scale.

Ya Nathan I got 9.6 as well so I guess we will call it 1/10th scale.

Wow in 1:1 that thing would be 12ft wide and a lowboy is 102in wide so that excavator is 42in wider than a standard lowboy.:D

Ok Clyde get a king hauler make a 1/14 scale 102in wide lowboy which will be 7.28in wide and use 1 1/8 side bords to give you a total width of 9.53in and the dozer will hang over both sides and look fine.
