Well we bought this beast from blackheath in the blue mountains in New South Wales and we have had it now for the last two weeks, it use to cart fertiliser to farms in the sorroundung areas, Mount Victoria is probably one of the toughest pulls in australia that i know of, and this pete was up and down it pretty much everyday in the last 10 years, as you can see it looks tough as, its a November 1998 build which spent its first 5 years in the states, it was then imported to australia and is now badged as a 2003 model because of the conversion side of things, its got a cat 3406E which is one of the last ones before they became C15's, behind it is an eaton 10 speed, i think the ratois in the diffs are 4:11's but im not too sure, its around there anyway, the trailer is a 2005 beleive it or not, muscat 34'x6'5'' trailer, its had a hard life not only doing fert it use to cart coal in wollongong in the coal mines, weve spent a week going over it so it could pass roadworthy which they both did,
Here are the photos that were on the advertisement

Wow, that's beautiful!! Kind of like my Wedico Peterbilt but I don't have the black roof. Love the signal headlights!

Cool rig! And neat pics, thanks for sharing! Love ag-related trucks...the best of both worlds! :)

And I love how it just has a 10 speed.....everybody thinks you need a 13 or 18 speed for pulling anything besides a van trailer, but it just goes to show with all the tough terrain you guys encounter on your side of the pond just how versatile a basic 10 speed can be!

Keep us posted on more updates and pics please!

thanks alex!, yeah the 10 speed is good, especially with the 4:11 ratio diffs, 1st is used as what we call bog cog if we ever got stuck because of its low gearing , nothing much has changed apart from a few mudflaps, got rid of thos supersingles and put buds on instead and a few other small touches, will get round to putting a few more photos up too
cheers lucas
