it seems that aluminum is the material of choice, but i dont have any tools or skills to work with it...so whats should i try?..plastic,which i used often for 1/35th scale and 1/24th scale is what id like to use..but i have no clue where to get sheets long enough for a 1/14th scale 53' trailer or similar, and would plastic be strong enough for a frame?...should i get the 36" aluminum channel that someone told me about in another thread? and build up from there?..

could brass and copper sheet work?...can all three be used together?

if so..where do i find brass and copper sheets which can be cut down?..

a friend owns a welding shop and he has many material's but would his prices be much higher than lowes? if lowes carries such items?..

From what I remember from shopping at Lowes a few days ago they do not sell brass or copper sheets that long and they dont sell the styrene sheets that alot of people use to build with but the veterans on here can direct you in the right path for what you may need
