Hi All

PKD Scale Engineering is a small hobby business that I have developed from my Slot Car Days into my RC Hobby.

I mainly set out to make parts for myself and as people have requested I have made them parts also.

I have full CAD software and can draw up almost anything you can think of, if you want something designed and sent to you in DXF format I can do this or I can just make the parts that you require.

I currently have a 2D Router/Mill that can do any flat type of product, like the Grills and Bumpers I have made, I will soon add a 4th axis which will allow me to do 3D milling.

I am also looking into purchasing a CNC lathe so I can do all the round objects like Tanks, air cleaners etc, you get the drift.

Materials that I work with are: Brass, Aluminium, Carbon Fibre, possibly others but these are the main three that I work with.

I do this as a Hobby and I take a bit of time to get the best results I can so I charge accordingly. I simply don't do this to turn a big profit, I have a day job that looks after that.

I will post a few samples of each item that I am able to make and you can also look at my posts to get an idea of the quality. All parts are made from the highest quality material I can get.

PM me if you would like something made or just drawn up, I'm not limited to RC Trucks, I am interested in Scale Engineering so let me know what you are thinking and I'll let you know if I can help

Postage from Aus to US/Canada up to 2KG is $20AUD

Cheers
Paul

Hi All

Just a notice that I will be shut for about a month so If you are wanting any work done please let me know this week as I'm moving house and I have to pack up the Garage and this will take me a fair bit of time, already have the better half reminding me what a big job its going to be.

Any order that I have taken will be completed and posted out but I wont take any orders after Friday this week.

Rest assured I will have it all up and running again in no time and with a better layout and room for more tools.

Thanks
Paul

Moving?......aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

Will you end up with a bigger shop for your model making? That would make it worth it.

The same size but I have managed to get rid of all the crap that belonged to other people so more room and more opportunities for more toys and tools :)

Hi All

PKD Scale Engineering is able to take orders again, it will be a bit slow to start with but I am able to start making parts again.

Just PM me with your wish list.

I have had to put some of the prices up due to material cost increase but its not by much.
I basically make your Parts at cost, Each part is cnc cut then hand finished and polished. There are a few Parts out there that are the same but I also make one off parts and treat each part as though it was for myself.
This is a hobby not a business, I enjoy seeing my parts on your trucks here on the Forum.
I will update each Topic with the changes.

Cheers
Paul

PKD Scale Engineering is once again shut for a while, not sure how long as I was never happy with the garage set up so I have pulled it all out and am starting again, with new cabinets and benches this time, it will be built to suit the shape better.

I have no orders at the moment and for those that have made an enquiry I will get onto them ASAP.

Sorry for any interruptions this may cause.

Happy building.

Hi Paul, any update? I am ready to proceed with the designs we discussed late last year....would prefer to use local supplier but if you're no longer interested then I'll have to look elsewhere :(
